I'm the afternoon news anchor on Country 93.3 and 97.9 ROCK and currently live in my hometown of Fort McMurray, Alberta.

 

I love being able to share stories and connect with people.

 

Story telling has always been a passion of mine and I love being able to share information to help keep others in the know and spread some good news to create smiles!

 

I got my bachelor of communications in journalism and a certificate of international communications from Mount Royal University and have worked at CBC North along with several newspapers across Alberta. 

When I am not blabbing on the radio, writing articles, editing videos or doing photography I am usually walking through the woods with my miniature dachshund Maple, spending time with my family or enjoying a fiercely competitive game night with my friends. 

 

I have always liked sports and I have been the sports editor for The Calgary Journal and The Reflector.

 

Traveling is another passion of mine and I have been all over Europe, northern India and Thailand.
